What is Reiki? It is a natural, safe and powerful therapy that supports everything including fertility and pregnancy. It means Universal Life Force – pure, positive, creative energy that is around and within all living things. Reiki is not a religion, more a philosophy and conscious connection but, I appreciate, difficult for the logical mind to understand. I explain it as a more subtle approach, connecting with esoteric senses and the energy field which exists around and within each of us – that’s cellular (within the physical), the aura (outside the body) and the yogic chakra’s (energy vortex centres within and outside the body). Western science and orthodox medicine looks at the human body from a biological or chemical aspect and as humans we generally tend to only understand what we can see i.e organs and skin, blood and hormones. However, we also embody an energy component called subtle matter. It is this subtle matter that when blocked or diminished, can cause imbalances including fertility and conception problems and it is this which Reiki connects with.
Reiki is a safe therapy and therefore can be used throughout the monthly womb cycle. It has many benefits when you are preparing for pregnancy but I have found that clients find it especially useful
post ovulation, during the challenging 2 week wait, throughout all forms of assisted conception procedures or post failed assisted conception procedures or after miscarriage
This is the time when emotionally would-be parents may be frustrated, grieving, feeling drained, a little lost or wounded/vulnerable. Somehow reiki energy nurtures you into a place of acceptance, releasing the negative imprints, helps to restore trust, focus and determination.
If you follow my blogs you will know that I have developed two wonderful toolkits to support fertility and birthing journeys. The insight cards help nourish fertility using nutritional therapy and emotionally connect your cycle with nature and lunar moon, whilst Creation Essence is an aromatherapy essence – these products together with all Creation Fertility energy products are blessed and charged with reiki energy.
The good news is I’m pregnant! Got pregnant in December naturally- after 5 rounds of IVF! So thanks to you, your magical treatments and Reiki, CF London 2015
Why have Reiki?
When you are preparing for pregnancy or have known fertility issues energy treatments help release trauma and restore the energy field, strengthening each lunar or assisted conception cycle, helping you identify and connect with the sacral chakra and yoni centre. During these treatment or when trying to conceive we use the Creation Fertility Toolkit to guide your connection with your womb cycle and fertility journey in a positive way using visualisation techniques. Sometimes treatments focus on ovulation, womb breathing, yoni or sacral chakra visualisations, trusting that the energy supports a positive conception. During pregnancy the treatments focus on maintaining a positive mindset, connecting and bonding with your unborn child and supporting any health issues which may arise. The 1st trimester is often challenging, especially if you have a history of miscarriage and some complementary therapies are limited during this short time. However, reiki can be received and helps you to connect with your rapidly developing baby and adapt to your changing body and early pregnancy symptoms. Remember reiki is safe during the first, second and third trimesters of pregnancy. Nearing birth the Creation Fertility Birthing Toolkit is used during treatments. From week 36 of pregnancy the sessions are directed to preparing both you and your baby for the birth, using visalisations to encourage labour and ease delivery when the time is right
Each treatment varies and lasts for about an hour . All that is required of you is an open mind. Simply lie on my treatment couch and relax. With the support of insight, visualisation, healing guidance and quiet energy the treatments take place. Sometimes I clear the chakra’s, sometimes the aura, and other times use energy oils or crystals, far infrared therapy or intuition and guidance to help relax, empower and rejuvenate.
Hi Justine, I am in the “family way’ thrilled and slightly in disbelief too. I’d be interested in coming and seeing you again as the session was so beneficial. Thank you. I will always remember you saying how warm my pelvis was, like there was a lot of activity in there! JA, London
Working with womb wisdom and energy healing I consider reiki treatments promote an overall sense of creative connection, encouraging you to go deep within, connecting with your true self in a safe calm environment. The energy encourages you to find yourself, that sense of inert knowing, deep trust and acceptance of the outcome. For many it offers a time to recharge, feminine gentleness and clarity whilst restoring vitality, well-being and inner peace. Reiki is pure positive energy, helping the unconscious mind and physical body to release negative emotions and beliefs, clearing unconscious energetic blocks, raising kundalini and encouraging new beginnings and possibilities in one’s life. Remember, Reiki is safe throughout all fertility and pregnancy journey’s #womb wisdom
Justine’s Reiki treatments are like having warm hugs but with the joy of feeling uplifted at the same time. As I relax into a treatment I see colours and feel imprints of energy flowing through me even though Justine isn’t actually touching me – Caroline B, Twickenham
