At the new moon this month (September 17th 2020) I have drawn 3 cards from the Creation Fertility Toolkit. Card 42 – fertility superfoods, card 1 – starry silence and card 37 – moonstone
This month I drew 3 cards from the Creation Fertility Toolkit Card 1 – starry silence – connecting with the moon and night sky, finding peace and silence as the evenings draw in and restful sleep to support hormone balance.Card 37 – moonstone – the crystals which connect with lunar energy and the reproductive cycle – helping to calm menstrual related tension and disorders and soothing and stabilising female energy as it connects with the moon cycle. Card 42 – fertility superfoods. This month as we connect with autumn and the equinox I am focusing on living also foods – specifically wheatgrass and broccoli sprouts. wheatgrass – full of chlororphyll this nutrient dense living food can be used to support fertility, hormone balance, stimulate the thyroid gland and metabolism. It is a great liver support and helps to alkaline the body. Broccoli sprouts – full of phytochemicals specifically sulforaphane glucosinalate this powerful spouting living food supports many conditions and I tend to recommend it for oestrogen conditions, cognitive performance, heart health, and stomach bugs. Due to the emotional and physical journey of trying to conceive I believe that fertility and pregnancy are arguably the most important times to benefit from healing gemstones. The stone of destiny it is strongly connected to the energy of moon- yin energy; the Divine Feminine and the goddess. To women, moonstone reveals their intuitive feminine power; clairvoyance, and gives rise to kundalini energy.
It is a very feminine stone believed to help hormone production, metabolism and reproduction. Legend states that its brightness and power raises to its peak around the full moon.
Moonstones has long been known for its calming, soothing qualities. The ancient Romans theorized that moonstones were formed from frozen moonlight. This crystal does shine with a cool lunar light but it comes from the mineral feldspar. The shimmer, called schiller or adularescence, is actually an intergrowth of two different types of feldspar.
