Connecting with each day. I was thinking about 2020 and connecting with the libra new moon as I drew the Creation #fertilityinspiration cards this month. How can we gain balance in our lives right now to support our hormone health? How can we support ourselves mentally, physically and spiritually? How can we stay in the moment and not be filled with concern? Voila – here is our focus for this month – simply and clearly. I invite you to take time over this moon cycle to connect with the autumn season, exercise regularly & express gratitude for each day! 1. Consciously disconnect from your wi-fi and go outside daily to support yourself mentally and physically. Re-connect with the autumn season and Mother Gaia. Autumn is all about the elements – Air, Fire, Water and Earth. Notice her colours, how she releases all that which no longer serves her. Feel the warmth of the autumn sun as it drops lower in the sky and the days shorten. Experience the wind as it blows scattering the fallen leaves as you play in them. Smell the season as the rain flows – breaking down the dry leaves, feeding the Earth and releasing the aromas of wet grass and dampness fill your nostril. Ground and connect with Mother Earth as you walk or exercise daily. All this supports us plus of course take some additional vitamin D3 with K2 daily to boost immunity and mental health between now and April. 2. Daily exercise. What's appropriate right now to support us hormonally? I am a great believer in all forms of exercise which calms the mind, reduces stress and lubricates the fascia. By the way fascia is a thin casing of connective tissue that surrounds and holds every organ, blood vessel, bone, nerve fiber and muscle in place. The tissue does more than provide internal structure; fascia has nerves that make it almost as sensitive as skin.I am also a great believer is any exercise which makes you smile so think outside volunteering, water activities such as swimming, rowing or kyaking. Mindful practices such as yoga, dance, massage, walking, horse riding, hula hooping, planting your april bulbs, pole dancing or try team sports where you can interact. (safely of course!). Aim for 90 minutes of movement daily without your wi-fi when possible How else can we support our hormones this month?Remaining grateful for life and expressing gratitude daily. You can do this by either taking time before bed to express 3 things that you are grateful for or write a list or make a gratitude mandala daily. By the way don't forget to consider a vitamin D3 with K2 supplement from now til April. Your local GP can offer a blood test to assess your vitamin D levels or visit someone like me or organise a test privately.
I was thinking about 2020 and connecting with the libra new moon as I drew the creation fertility cards this month. My thoughts were
How can we gain balance in our lives right now to support our hormones?
How can we support ourselves mentally, physically and spiritually?
How can we stay in the moment and not be filled with concern?
As always my questions were clearly answered when I turned the cards over
So this month our #fertilityinspiration focus is mindful breathing, supporting hormone balance and your fertility ability by reducing cortisol levels and increasing serotonin. It is time to dis-connect from social media and wi-fi and re-connect with the autumn season, exercise daily and express deep gratitude for life!
Connect with each day by going outside daily.
This card suggests you would benefit from consciously disconnecting from your wi-fi and re-connect with nature. For this moon cycle I invite you to go outside daily. Enjoy the autumn season and Mother Gaia. Autumn is all about the elements – Air, Fire, Water and Earth. Notice her colours, how she releases all that which no longer serves her. Feel the warmth of the autumn sun as it offers its yellow/orange glow and lowers in the sky as the days shorten. Experience the wind as it blows – scattering the fallen leaves as you play in them or try to catch them. Smell the season as the rain flows – breaking down the dry leaves, feeding the Earth and releasing the aromas of wet grass and dampness fill your nostrils. Ground and connect with Mother Earth as you mindfully walk or exercise daily. All this supports you both mentally and physically. Of course you can also take some additional vitamin D3 with K2 daily to boost your immunity and mental health between now and April.
Fertility Hack: Take time to get outside daily. Re-connect with nature. Consider taking a vitamin D3 with K2 supplement daily from now til April. Your local GP can offer a blood test to assess your vitamin D levels or visit someone like me or organise a test privately.
Connect with each day through exercise and dance
What exercise is appropriate right to support you hormonally? I am a great believer is all exercise which calms the mind, reduces stress and lubricates the fascia.
By the way fascia is a thin casing of connective tissue that surrounds and holds every organ, blood vessel, bone, nerve fiber and muscle in place. The tissue does more than provide internal structure; fascia has nerves that make it almost as sensitive as skin. As far as I am concerned lubricating and supporting your physical body at this level is essential to support fertility and pregnancy.
I am also a great believer is any exercise which makes you smile so think Yoga, pilates, dance, (I am thinking every form – from chakra dance to ball room). Also consider massage, walking, horse riding, hula hooping, planting your april bulbs, pole dancing or any team sports where you can interact. (safely of course)
Fertility hack: 90 minutes movement daily – it need not be only one form of exercise but make a conscious effort to move your body (ideally outdoors without your phone or wi-fi) through-out this moon cycle
Connect with each day by expressing gratitude.
Remain grateful for life and express gratitude daily.
You can do this by
a) writing a gratitude letter to yourself daily. It’s amazing how much you can be grateful for when you start!
b) include a mindful meditation gratitude exercise daily by drawing a mandala daily- here’s one of mine
c) Don’t go to bed ungrateful. Think of 3 things you are grateful for during your day and say them aloud with the caveat “thank you thank you thank you” before you do to bed.
