Therapeutic Massage including Pregnancy and Post-Natal Massage
I am trained in many forms of massage, including Lymphatic, Swedish, Hawaiian, Indian Head and Thai Foot. Consequently my treatments are ecletric and individual. Each one is specifically designed for you and uses aromatherapy and energy oils.
Massage during pregnancy can be a great comfort. As your body changes shape physical ailments can present themselves, including back ache, sacroiliac and hip pain, constipation, circulation issues and tiredness. Pregnancy massages are designed to help boost energy levels, calm the mind and body as well as helping to minimise stretch marks, keeping skin smooth and supple, release aches, pains and tension. Towards the end of the pregnancy massage of the lymphatic system reduces oedema and fluid retention. Once you have had your baby a soothing post-natal massage helps to boost a depleted immune system and alleviate fluid retention, relieve back-ache, balance hormones and reduce the impact of "baby blues". It provides "me time”.
